Cataclysm

‘Cataclysm’ looked at the environmental disaster after biomedical waste, and finding beauty from it. The collection has re-invent the craft process in weaving and crochet alongside the exploration for knit. The research of chemical waste was mainly focus on the inappropriate medical disposal onto the ocean. Visual textile inspiration was drawn from the ocean surface, resulted in medical dissolving and chemical spill. The collection has developed a range of textiles with weaving and crochet craft skills, combining with knit to demonstrate artisanal craft through clothing.
